Del Valle

Del Valle is one of the most beautiful areas of Austin stretching from Decker Lake on the northside to Mustang Ridge. Del Valle offers rural charm mixed with suburban single family home communities. Outdoor enthusiasts will be attracted to McKinney State Park, Decker Lake and Walter E long Park with some of the best biking trails in Central Texas. There are many activities for families, music and art lovers at Carson Creek Amphitheater, Circuit of the Americas, Hope Gallery, Concourse Project, Travis County Expo Center and so much more. Tesla and the Austin Bergstrom International Airport bring major employment to the area as well. Del Valle is as unique and special as it is complicated. A resident of Del Valle could be within the Austin City Limits or in an area annexed from CoA, in an ETJ or in Del Valle. A resident could reside in Bastrop County or Travis County or neither. The boundary between the Austin and Del Valle independent school districts remains chaotic to this day.
