Colony Park

This east Austin neighborhood has been a topic of redevelopment for several years. Currently, the Colony Park area is a relatively undeveloped prime piece of Austin real estate. It’s 10 miles from downtown and 5 miles from Mueller. It’s located near hwy 130 which will eventually be a main connectivity highway. The goal of the City’s new master plan is to build a destination community similar to the Domain. New development is inevitable in this area, but it may be a decade before we see its full potential. This area attracts first time home buyers as master planned communities continually pop up. Long-term investors may want to consider Colony Park with the exciting development opportunities on the horizon.
